We are Pitchside Productions, a student-led practicum group out of Toronto Metropolitan University. For our practicum, we are planning, hosting, and broadcasting the "Speak Up! Shield", a charity soccer match in support of athletes' mental health.
The match will feature the TMU Bold and York Lions' Men's Soccer Teams and will take place on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 1PM EST at the Zanchin Automotive Soccer Centre in Vaughan, Ontario.
We have set a fundraising goal of $5000 to help cover our expenses. These include venue rental, production and tech costs, and all other aspects that go into planning an industry-level production and event like this one.
*After all of our expenses have been covered, we will be donating all extra proceeds to a charity that supports our cause.*
