Our mission is to raise awareness for mental health and support for the well-being of athletes. Through this unique event, we aim to break the stigma surrounding mental health, encourage open conversations, and provide resources that promote mental wellness for athletes at all levels. We believe that no athlete should face their battles alone, and we are committed to creating an environment where support is accessible and normalized.
WHO WE DO IT FOR:
Katie Meyer (2000-2022)
Stanford University Goalkeeper 2019-22
Led Stanford to a NCAA Championship in 2019
Katie Meyer was an inspiring student-athlete and goalkeeper for Stanford University’s soccer team. She was known for her leadership, determination, and passion on and off the field. Tragically, Katie lost her life in 2022, and her passing brought renewed attention to the mental health struggles faced by athletes. Her story reminds us how important it is to address the pressures that athletes endure along with the urgent need for mental health support.
We honor Katie’s legacy by dedicating this event to raising awareness and supporting athletes’ mental well-being.

In 2023, Nicholas tragically lost his battle with mental health. His passing came as a devastating reminder of the silent struggles so many endure. His brother Dylon, who was a former professional goalkeeper, became very vocal about advocating for mental health, working hard to honour his brother's legacy. Dylon and his family helped raise funds for mental health organizations such as TripleKick, seeking to create a lasting change in memory of Nicholas.
Tragically just over a year later, Dylon lost his life in an accident. The Powley brothers’ legacies continue to inspire efforts to support mental health awareness, especially among athletes and men who may feel the weight of their struggles in silence.
We honour both Nicholas and Dylon Powley by continuing their fight for mental health awareness, ensuring their legacies live on through the souls they touched and the light they brought to this world.
